Please accept our heartfelt wishes for a wonderful, relaxing Christmas holiday for you and your loved ones, as well as we wish you good health, success and a Happy New Year 2015!
2014 is slowly coming to an end, and so is our 2014 Year of Reconciling Work and Family Life. As we look back on the year, perhaps the most striking was how incredibly busy we were. With 3 major conferences, 2 under the auspices of the Greek and the Italian Presidencies respectively, as well as the Employers’ Forum in Helsinki, and not to forget our early February event for the European Elections in Berlin.
Many of our Members, as well as Members of the 2014 Alliance, and other stakeholders also took the opportunity to organise events around the issue of work-life balance, to which they very kindly also invited us. As we have certainly clocked up a lot of miles traveling, these were mainly great opportunities to learn about the different aspects of reconciliation, the real challenges at national, regional, local and workplace levels, and also very inspiring to see all the different initiatives, that are making a difference in the lives of many working parents and carers.
We are looking forward to continuing the fruitful cooperation with you in 2015, which promises to be an exciting year and we hope to see many of you at the events we will be organising on the theme of Vulnerable Families.
